Competition Archive- New Character

Caterpie’s Corner needed a new character to star in the comic. Instead of deciding myself, I thought I would let the public decide! They were to send me in a new Pokemon, along with a short description of their personality and why they thought that Pokemon would be good in the comic.
Here you’ll find every entry that I received, as well as the winner.

Pokémon: Duskull
Description: Since Duskull is a bit of a 'dark' and 'mysterious' and 'odd' Pokemon, I think it would be pretty funny seeing Caterpie (A playful and funny and easily-angered character) trying to deal with Duskull the whole time... Like, he's always confused what he's saying...

Pokémon: Bulbasaur
Description: I think bulbasaur would make the comic alot funnier his vines would sort out Caterpie's fear of going down stairs and staying in swimming pools dont you think?

Pokémon: Pichu
Description: Pichu is so cute! I could squeeze it's litle eyeballs out! Plus, it has a playful nature, so Caterpie and Pichu could play some games that go TERRIBLY wrong.

Pokémon: Charmander
Description: Wel, we all want Aiiro to be fun for all ages right? What's the best way to show that everybody's welcome, no matter how different you are? Put a pokemon in the site's comic that would usualy toast the main character, but gets along well here~! xD(or something like that). In other words, bring in Charmander, or another "type advantage" pokemon, would show anybody is welcome, and everybody will get along. :3

Name: Anor
Pokémon: Goldeen
Description: I think that goldeen would be a good addition to the series, because he/she (it's a more feminine pokémon, but it's really up to you, the author xD) could be the frustrated, sophisticated, annoying character of the series... like Misty/May xD. Goldeen and Caterpie could find a good, strong relationship with a few fun moments thrown in.

Pokémon: Umbreon (or cyndiquil if i cant do umbreon)
Description: i think umbreon will be good for the Aiiro team beacuse he has a low selfasteam and he could talk caterpie in to not going insane.(same for cyindiquil if i cant do umbreon)

Name: Walker
Pokémon: Murkrow
Description: I think Murkrow would be a good addition to the Aiiro cast because he could er, 'take care' of those people who might get Caterpie into a sticky situation. Or alternatively he could 'take care' of Caterpie if they don't get along. Y'know, at all. >.>

Description: Seedot would be a fun character because he is both weak to bug type and he is army like

Pokémon: Torchic
Description: Torchic is, well, a chicken! I was thinking that maybe when Torchic cries, it wold be funny to see Caterpie beat him up! Yes, I am sadistic! ;)

Pokémon: Turtwig
Description: I think Turtwig would make a good addition to Aiiro because it has a strong and playful nature. Turtwig would be a good character in the comic as he would be able to handle Caterpie and his 'anger issues'.

Description: I think it would be a good character in the comic because it would make sure Caterpie doesn't drown in the pool again. And it has a happy and playful personality. And it has sharp teeth (ahahahahaha). I think it would be a good character in the site for the same reasons. Oh, and it's an awesome Pokemon.

Pokémon: Umbreon
Description: Well.......UMBREON IS AWESOME!!! Umbreon would be a great addition to any comic! Umbreon could be a helpful helper (ha ha) to caterpie. Uh...and he isn't a fire type so there are no risks for little caterpie! ^_^

Description: you could have it light up caves that caterpie explores through the portals and magby is a cool small pokemon, like caterpie. it also could do many other things using heat, ie heating up caterpies pool.

Description: I think Absol would probably make a good evil character. Maybe he could be the one who set up those teleporters, eh? Also seeing as it's a Dark type...*shifty eyes*. Evil characters rock, man. XD

Description: The reason I picked Poochyena is because it looks like a fun mischeavous and energetic pokemon. He could get Caterpie into a lot of funny situations and trouble.

Pokémon: Weedle & Wurmple
Description: They are Catipie's Partners ^^; His other bug type friends that live in the forest with him far far away. It'd make Catipie feel right at home, and guess what... *Says what..* Wurmple is a girl =O So they can fall in love... *naww* & Weedle and Catipie are rivals... ehehe SO EBIL D:< They fight to the death =O

Pokémon: Ponyta
Description: Ponyta would be a good pokemon for Aiiro *and Caterpie* because it can be a nice friend when Caterpie gets into some bad situations, it can use its powerful abilities and strong body.

Name: Tophiebear
Pokémon: Larvitar
Description: Hes a cool pokemon, and evolves into tyranitar. I think that he is also an angryish pokemon. He should do nicely with caterpie.

Description: Gible is also a cool pokemon. It probably is a fun pokemon, and can bite caterpie alot.

Description: He's the opposite of Caterpie, and it's personality is always happy, too.

Description: Trapinch is a fellow bug like guy. And can solve caterpie's anger with his big bite.

Description: because it's my favorite pokemon and because of it's playful nature.

Description: Okay, I have an idea... I can mix my favourite Pokemon of the moment with my favourite doctor. So how about a grumpy, sarcastic Chatot that acts like House? xD Maybe without the drug addiction, though. Haha. Chatot would also be good cos it can copy things and be really annoying. Okay, it's not that good, but it's all I can think of xD

Description: The comic could use a hyperactive character. :D And seeing Pachirisu in the anime all hyper and whatnot... (I love that episode!!) He could also be funny. :D

Pokémon: Ralts
Description: Ralts is a calm Pokemon, so he could help balance out some of Caterpie's craziness and short temper. Caterpie also seems pretty indecisive, having to post polls before he makes any kind of decision, so Ralt's psychic powers might help him predict what a good decision would be. ^^

Pokémon: vulpix
Description: Why? Do you really need a reason? Okay well then a good reason is because Vulpix is so cute and playful and happy around any Pokemon. Vulpix will get along with Caterpie and can even fend off the harmful Beedrill that come its way by using its fire power. Above all, Vulpix is the best Pokemon in my opinion.

Description: In the anime, Ash's Totodile likes to dance. That would probably tick off Caterpie... mwahaha... XD Yeah... it might be a little sidekick who's sole purpose is to annoy Caterpie to no end.

Description: Because no doubt Sarah has already nominated Bulbasaur: If you have Bulbasaur you gotta have Squirtle. It's so cute and cuddly. And also, I'm your friend. :) :P

Description: Because Burmy has lots of forms and it can evolve into two pokemon Wormadam and Mothim!!!

Description: Since Eevee has many evolution paths, it would add some suspense for what it would evolve too. Plus, I think Eevee would annoy Caterpie greatly.

Description: Coz' magikarp is pure magic and it know the totally awsome splash attack >D No one can beat that ! =D Refghertge I dont no, i just like Magikarpz! And i think they need more love owo! And thats it xD;

Description: Because he's really awesome! He could a help Caterpie fight the evil mastermind known as "The Sign".

Pokémon: a shiny snubull
Description: Because Snubull needs some love ^^ Also, it would be interesting to see the two characters clash, because Snubll is stereotypically cast as a grumpy pokemon, eventhough it it is proud of its appearance.

Description: I think squrtle will be a good mach for caterpie because when caterpie doesn't know how to swim and drowns squrtle can save him.

Description: Because he would be cool to be a minion of Spooky Sign. And he's pretty cool too. And creepy.

Description: Eevee's pretty much cool, cute, and pwnage all wrapped in one pokemon. It also has the best evoulutions ever.It would be fun to watch it as it pwns every baddie in the universe of Caterpie's Corner. Happy Thanksgiving.
