Silver, Gold and Crystal

Pokémon Gold and Silver were the first two titles in the second generation of Pokémon games.
These games brought with them 100 new species, bringing the total number of Pokemon (at that time) to 251.
Gold and Silver featured improved graphics and gameplay from the original games and many new features including Day/Night times (and less importantly, Morning).

Pokémon Crystal starred Suicune as the central legendary Pokémon, with both Ho-oh and Lugia still obtainable. The graphics stayed the same, though gameplay was slightly different, to accomodate for Suicune's plot.
