Ruby and Sapphire
Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire were the first in the third generation of the Pokémon games.
They introduced 135 brand new Pokémon, along with the new region of Hoenn.
Pokémon Emerald is the third game of the third generation of Pokémon games.
It is the traditional last game in the Hoenn 'triangle'. The game introduces no new Pokémon, just a slight change in the story which the hero/heroine follows; Including an extended plot involving both Kyogre and Groudon.
